A Pressure Seal Gate Valve is a type of gate valve where (unlike a conventional bolted-bonnet valve) the sealing between the body and bonnet is achieved through pressure-driven sealing rather than by using bolts. As system pressure increases, the joint seals tighter due to the design of the pressure-assisted components — making them ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature service.
